Itinerary:

Day 01: Colombo Airport 

     Stay at Katunayake (midnight)

In the morning, proceed to Kandy (Approx. 125 kms | 4 hrs 20 mins)

Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, begin your scenic journey to Kandy, a city steeped in culture and natural beauty. En route, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for orphaned and injured elephants. Witness these majestic creatures bathing in the river and being fed, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience. Continue your journey with a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, renowned for its lush landscapes and over 4,000 species of plants including orchids, medicinal herbs, and palm trees. The gardens are a tranquil retreat that showcases the biodiversity of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Kandy.

 

Day 02: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 90 kms | 3 hrs 10 mins)

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist sites. Located within the royal palace complex, this temple houses a tooth relic of the Buddha and draws pilgrims and visitors from around the world. Continue your journey toward Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque highland town known for its cool climate and colonial charm. Along the way, visit a tea plantation and factory, where you can see the intricate process of tea production from plucking to packaging, and enjoy a cup of fresh Ceylon tea. Stop at the scenic Ramboda Falls, cascading gracefully amid lush greenery, making it a perfect photo stop. Later, stroll through Gregory Park, a serene lakeside area ideal for relaxing, boating, or simply taking in the views of the misty hills surrounding the lake. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

 

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya to Bentota

Check out after breakfast and proceed to the bentota and proced madu river boat Safari

In the evening lesuire at the beach.

Overnight stay in benota.

 

Day 04: Bentota to Colombo 

After breakfast proceed to visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery 

 

Then proceed to Colombo city tour

Lotus tower 

Gangaramaya Temple

Proceed to airport for departure flight

  •  In case of the flight rescheduling due to reasons beyond Roamalot’s control, we will assist you with the alternative arrangements. The fees/charges may be applicable as per the airline’s policy.
  • Please advise us at the time of confirmation for any specification of the floor, room, beddings, view, early check-in, late check-out, adjoining, connecting, etc., so that we can inform the hotels in advance. However, we cannot guarantee anything as it is purely based on the availability, policy, and the discretion of the Hotel at the time of check-in.
  •  Hotels / Service providers may ask for a credit card authorization/cash deposit to cover any incidental or expenses of a personal nature, and must be provided with the same when required.
  •  Hotels in SOUTH EAST ASIA, EUROPE, EUROASIA (ex., Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, etc) have smaller room sizes and cannot be compared to the GCC accommodations and their standard.
  • We will be providing the names of the accommodation; it is the guest’s responsibility to double-check the property by means of searching it online. Images and descriptions are always available online for you to investigate before confirming it. Once you have confirmed, it means that you have agreed to the property.
