Day 1: Arrive in Mexico City, airport pick-up

Day 2: Teotihuacan & Basilica Guadalupe Tour with lunch (8-9 Hours)
Tour Highlight: Your experience begins with a stroll through the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Visit the church of Santiago de Tlatelolco, contemplate the ruins of a pre-Hispanic city, and see the monument in honor of the student movement of 1968. Continue your experience at the Guadalupe Basilica complex and climb the sacred hill of Tepeyac, the place where the Virgin Mary appeared to the Indian Juan Diego. Head to the Chapel of the Roses and enjoy a sweeping view of Mexico City. During your visit to the religious complex, admire the Chapel of the Indians, the Chapel of the Pocito, and the modern basilica, the place where the sacred blanket of Juan Diego is kept. To finish off your experience, head to the State of Mexico and discover the archaeological complex of Teotihuacan. Explore the archaeological zone and learn about the important history of this significant pre-Hispanic city. This activity also includes a visit to a handicraft center, where you can optionally taste pulque.
Day 3: Mexico City Tour and Xochimilco Visit
Tour Highlight: We start the day walking around some of the most emblematic buildings in Mexico City historic centre, including the largest plaza in Latin America, the Zocalo, the National Palace and the cathedral. We then visit the site of the Great Temple of the Aztecs and continue on to Madero Street whilst admiring the fine buildings before reaching the magnificent Palace of Fine Arts. Hop aboard our bus which will whisk you straight to the south of the city, more specifically, Coyoacan, where you can admire the buzz and village centre of this well-liked neighbourhood. Next and final stop on the tour is Xochimilco, where we enjoy a boat ride in a Mexican gondola, a trajinera, on the canals that characterise this area. We might even hear the renowned Mariachi bands as they play to serenade visitors!
Day 4: Visit to Animal Kingdom and Guadalupe Shrine (9-10 Hours)
Tour Highlight: Interact with more than 1500 animals released in this sustainable park for the whole family. Pet, feed and take the best pictures of your trip on the Animal Kingdom safari where you will find wild felines, birds, mammal reptiles and more. Find animals like iguanas, zebras, giraffes, lions, eagles, buffaloes, camels, tigers, crocodiles, snakes and have true contact with nature while you know about their conservation. We will also stop to the fascinating most important Basilica of Mexico where you will know the history of Our Lady of Guadalupe and its impressive architecture, as well as all the culture and history immersed in the religion in Mexico.
Day 5: Puebla, Cholula & Tonantzintla Day Trip with Optional Lunch (11 Hours)
Tour Highlights: Discover central Mexico’s cultural treasures on a full-day tour to Cholula, Tonantzintla, and Puebla. Begin your journey with a scenic drive, enjoying sweeping views of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes along the way. Your first stop is Cholula, home to the Great Pyramid of Cholula, the largest pyramid in the world by volume, and explore the richly decorated church of Santa María de Tonantzintla. Then, continue to the UNESCO-listed city of Puebla, the “City of Angels, and enjoy a guided walking tour of its historic centre, see the Cathedral, and marvel at the Rosary Chapel of Santo Domingo. If you choose the lunch-included option. Savor a traditional meal at a local restaurant before visiting the colorful Parián Market and enjoying free time in Puebla before returning to Mexico City.
